From grumpy Lucifer in Cinderella (1950) to cuddly Mochi in Big Hero 6 (2014), generations of unique Disney cats have pounced from the big screen into our hearts. During this workshop, we will explore the evolution of cartoon cats and how animators use reference and technology to push the limits of animal animation. You will then use exaggerated gestures, posture, and facial expressions to animate your own “purr-fect” cat stretching after a long nap.
