We are extremely sad to hear of the passing of Kevin Corcoran. Born on June 10, 1949 in Santa Monica, California, Kevin acted as “Moochie” in various episodes of the Mickey Mouse Club. As his mentor, Walt became impressed by Kevin 's talent, and Kevin would soon find himself co-starring in various Disney hits, including Old Yeller, Pollyanna, Swiss Family Robinson, and Toby Tyler. After college, Kevin retired from acting and began working for Disney in production. Kevin was a film producer in the 1970s, with film credits including Return from Witch Mountain. He later became a respected director and producer in television. In 2006,Kevin was named a Disney Legend. Notably, in 2012, he visited The Walt Disney Family Museum to participate in a program about Old Yeller with Ron Miller—Walt's son-in-law, the former CEO of The Walt Disney Company, assistant director of Old Yeller, and current Chair of the Board of The Walt Disney Family Museum.
