In conjunction with the opening of our new special exhibition, Disney Cats & Dogs, and the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company, our studio programs are featuring some of our favorite animated feline and canine friends.

Disney’s The Fox and the Hound (1981) tells a tale of true friendship amid challenging circumstances and has enchanted audiences with its sincerity and appealing character designs. Join us in this workshop as we explore the making of this endearing film and its concept art, various drawing techniques, and stylized animal anatomy. Using simplified design, contrasting characteristics, and appealing backstories, you will illustrate your own unlikely duo meant to be forever friends.
