"Plussing" Disneyland in 1955

Walt famously said, "As long as there's imagination left in the world, Disneyland will never be complete." In keeping with Walt's hope, the Park has continued to be "plussed," with new attractions added through the years. With yesterday being Disneyland's birthday, we're saluting the attractions that debuted in 1955, but after the Park itself opened on July 17.

These attractions include an exhibit on the film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (open August 1955 to August 1966), Flight Circle (August 1955 to January 1966), and the Phantom Boats (open September 1955 to October 1956). To pay tribute to the others, here is how they are depicted in our Disneyland of Walt's Imagination model.
