Walt Disney’s journey into the field of animation began with the stop-motion method using paper cutouts. Learn techniques to create your own set for stop-motion animation in this class. You will design concept art for an environment, illustrate a blueprint, construct a prototype and final set, and make a simple stop-motion animation.
This class focusses primarily on design, drawing, and construction. All animation takes place in the final weeks of class. No prior animation experience is needed. All supplies for this class are provided by the instructor.
