(no class Jun 19, half-day Jun 27)
Have you ever wondered how animators make food look delicious in films? This class has all the ingredients you need to create flavorful animation based around cooking and food elements. Students will learn how to fabricate items out of various materials, how to apply fundamental stop-motion animation principles, then create perfectly mouthwatering short films one frame at a time.
Additional Class Details
Stop motion software will be provided for students to learn and use to make their cooking and food-based animation. We will dive into the 12 principles of animation to help make their food animations come to life, ranging from a character eating snacks to cooking their own meal.
Please note: The last day of each Class will be a half day (9am–noon). Parents and family are invited to join us at noon to visit the classroom and view student work from the two-week session.
