Date
September | Wed–Sun | 2pm

This September, we invite you to go behind-the-scenes of a few of Disney’s most beloved animated musicals—The Little Mermaid (1989), Beauty and the Beast (1991), Aladdin (1992) and The Lion King (1994)—in Don Hahn’s illuminating documentary, Waking Sleeping Beauty (2010). Follow a pivotal and often contentious period in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ history, when the emergence of a new class of animators, producers, musicians, and writers revived animation in an era referred to as the Disney Renaissance.

Run time: 86 minutes
