Join autism advocate and Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum US cast member Dani Bowman as she discusses her journey working in animation and building her own animation company, DaniMation Entertainment, at the age of 11. This inspiring discussion will dive into the challenges the people with autism face within the animation industry and the importance of understanding and accommodating differences, building self-advocacy skills, and fostering inclusive workplaces for all.

An autograph signing with the speaker will follow the conclusion of this event, exclusive for all program ticketholders.

About the Speaker

Dani Bowman

Dani Bowman, an animator, artist, and entrepreneur on the autism spectrum, is passionate about using her skills to help others and is also passionate about inclusion and diversity. Having been diagnosed with autism at age 3 and having been nonverbal until 6, Bowman has overcome these challenges to become an accomplished artist and inspiring speaker. Bowman founded her own company, DaniMation, when she was 14 years old, and DaniMation UK in 2019. Bowman has taught animation to over 2,600 students with autism and premiered 11 short films at San Diego Comic-Con. As a national speaker and cast member of Love on the Spectrum, Bowman uses her platform to inspire and mentor others.
