About the Speaker

Sunny Chanel

Sunny Chanel, a lifelong Disneyland fanatic, was inspired to create a resource for others like her who thirst, nay, need to incorporate Disney magic into their everyday lives.

Chanel has penned thousands of pieces for sites such as Disney's former popular online magazine Babble, Buzzfeed, Business Insider, Brit + Co, and Fandango, to name a few, in addition to being a regular contributor to Babble's Disney Voices section. During her writing career, she has worked closely with many arms of The Walt Disney Company including the film studios, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, Disneyland Resort, and Walt Disney World Resort.

Bring the Magic Home: An Exploration of Design Inspired by Disney Parks, released in October 2024 and published by Disney Editions, is her first book. In her spare time, she helps run her family's record store, plots her next visit to The Happiest Place on Earth®, and continues to create magic in her own home.
