The ghosts and banshees are about to have their midnight jamboree, and they are brimming with fiendish glee! Whether it’s oral or written—fable or folklore—storytelling has played a significant part in our human history and spooky tales are no exception. Gather around to celebrate the 75th anniversary of The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949). As we take a journey through the production of the film, we’ll also be looking at how animators have illustrated the power of storytelling over the years. Then with traditional animation techniques, you will animate your own character telling their own harrowing tale.
