Girl Scout Cadettes (6–8)
Girl Scout Cadettes are invited to learn how Walt encouraged his staff to experiment with special effects, then explore how the resulting advancements in technology made Disney animation more lifelike and engaging. Scouts continue to the Learning Center to experiment in groups with a miniature multiplane camera to gain a hands-on understanding of how to create depth in a two-dimensional medium, culminating in each group composing their own silent stop-motion short about a cause of their choice.
