Behind every dynamic hero, sidekick, and villain is an interesting backstory and a stylish costume to complement their attitude. Travel with us to San Fransokyo in this Pop-Up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Big Hero 6 (2014) as we take a closer look at Yokai, the intimidating villain adorned in an eerie kabuki-like mask. We will dive into the history of kabuki masks and fundamental design principles to aid your creations. Then, with pre-made masks and paint, you will create your own kabuki mask perfect for your hero or villain persona.
