Studio Series workshops are 90-minute sessions that explore animation principles and techniques.
3…2…1… You are cleared for lift-off! In any tale that involves a hero and villain, a grand entrance and exit is pivotal—even a protagonist like Baymax who was programmed as a health care companion. It’s time to assemble in this Studio Series to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Big Hero 6 (2014). As we soar through the production of the film, we will also take a deep dive into animation history focusing on dynamic launches. You will then create your own character blasting off the page with traditional animation techniques.
