This Studio Series is sure to be “practically perfect in every way”! Fly a (metaphorical) kite with us as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of Mary Poppins (1964). We will explore this classic’s use of matte paintings and the optical printer that brought many of our favorite scenes to life. Then, using traditional hand-drawn techniques, animate your own character taking “just a spoonful of sugar” to help the medicine go down.
