Walt’s love for loyal companions is present through many of his animated projects. He understood that each character needs its own unique look, shaped by an artist. Join Disney Television Animation artist Elsa Chang in a wildly creative workshop as she demonstrates step-by-step tips and techniques for drawing unique and memorable cats and dogs.

About the Speaker
Elsa Chang is a Los Angeles based artist who attended Art Center College of Design and graduated with a BFA in Illustration. She has had a passion for art ever since the age of three and pursued that passion all through her life. Chang works as a Character Designer for Animation and has worked at numerous animation studios, including Sony Pictures Animation, Paramount Animation, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks Television Animation, and Titmouse Animation, and is currently at Disney Television Animation. Aside from working in animation, Chang is also a children's book illustrator and has published her art with Disney Publishing, Simon & Schuster, and Penguin Random House. She has always had a love for animals and has pet parented various critters, including cats, dogs, a hamster, fish, birds, freshwater shrimps, toads, reptiles, freshwater crabs, snails, and a tarantula.
