Each month, we ask a museum staff member to answer five questions about their position at The Walt Disney Family Museum, their fondest Disney memories, and personal tidbits. This month, we've got a special edition of "What Do YOU Do?" as we've nabbed someone on our very own blog team--read on to find out what else Super Cool Reed Milnes does!
What is your title and what do YOU do here at The Walt Disney Family Museum?
I am the Volunteer Services Coordinator. I manage the volunteer team here at the museum.
What is your fondest Disney memory OR what is your favorite gallery at The Walt Disney Family Museum and why?
My favorite gallery here at the Museum is 1A, because it features the beginning of Walt Disney’s legacy of volunteering. His quiet service to his community and those around him is an inspiration.
How does your job communicate and interpret the legacy of Walt Disney?
Humbly, I hope our team continues to inspire service to and for others, as Walt did through his many philanthropic and community contributions.
Describe your workspace OR your favorite item on your desk:
My favorite item on my desk is my Muppet “Volunteer” poster. It’s not easy being green, but Kermit still finds time to give back.
Tell us a little known fact about you!
I can hand throw pizza dough.
