For any of our dedicated followers who find themselves in the Los Angeles area, check out an exciting exhibition D23 presents Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives at The Reagan Library. This exhibition presents more than 500 artifacts from the original script of Steamboat Willie to props, costumes, and set pieces from recent Disney films. Although the Reagan Library may seem an unlikely place for an exhibition on Disney Treasures, Ronald Reagan and Walt Disney did know each other as Reagan helped to unveil the magic of Disneyland as the co-host of ABC’s live coverage of opening day. Reagan is not the only President you will find in the exhibition, 44 busts of US Presidents created for the audio-animatronics at the Hall of Presidents at the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort also take center stage. See all of this and more at the Reagan Library through April 2013! To learn more about audio-animatronics and the original audio-animatronic president Abraham Lincoln visit us here at The Walt Disney Family Museum.
