In conjunction with this year’s Big Draw theme Drawn to Life, which explores the benefits of being creative to make a positive change in both your own life and the world around you, we present this special screening of Disneynature’s Chimpanzee (2012). Follow the breathtaking story of a young chimpanzee named Oscar, orphaned in the forests of West Africa, as he faces the many obstacles nature throws at him. Disneynature worked closely with ethnologist and conservationist Jane Goodall to produce this film, with some proceeds from the film benefit- ting the Jane Goodall Institute. The funds raised went on to protect the 129,236 acres of habitat in the Tchimpoun- ga Nature Reserve in the Republic of Congo.
