In conjunction with Support for Families of Children with Disabilities, The Walt Disney Family Museum invites children with disabilities and special healthcare needs on August 4 to enjoy the museum’s galleries with their friends and families, free with reservation. We will open our doors one hour early for these families, allowing them exclusive access before the building opens to the general public. In addition to our main galleries, families also have the opportunity to explore our special exhibition, Mickey Mouse: From Walt to the World, decorate a paper art project, make a stop-motion animated film with clay, and watch a classic Disney movie in our theater.
Since 1982, Support for Families of Children with Disabilities has offered information, education, and parent-to-parent support free of charge to families and professionals of children with any kind of disability or special health care need in San Francisco.
