Join Disney Visual Development Artist Griselda Sastrawinata-Lemay, half of the husband-and-wife artist duo Griz & Norm, as she takes us on a journey through the creation of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ latest hit, Frozen II (2019). Follow Sastrawinata on her own artistic journey while she dives deep into Anna’s story and personality, and how Anna's complicated character arc influenced her costume design. Learn about the historical and cultural research that went in to the visual aspects of the new film, along with the updates incorporated into the stunning sequel.

This program is suitable for all ages. Families with children are welcome to also attend the companion program, Storytime for Kids: Blue Spot with Disney Author and Illustrator Griselda Sastrawinata-Lemay.

About the Speaker

Griselda Sastrawinata-Lemay is a visual development artist for Walt Disney Animation Studios. In addition to many animated film projects, she worked on Moana (2016) and Frozen II (2019). She is the illustrator of the Moana Little Golden Book.
