It’s sure to be “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” in this Pop-Up Studio! For 60 years, Mary Poppins (1964) has melted our hearts with memorable characters, musical moments, and new technology that allowed for the suspension of disbelief within scenes such as the airborne carousel horses. Join us as we look at production design, painting techniques, and how artists have sketched and created fantastical props. Then, using design principles, wood, paint, and your imagination, create your own carousel horse perfect for any adventure!

Tickets for Pop-Up Studio | Painting a Carousel Horse are available as follows:
- Walt’s Circle Donors: Purchase tickets beginning Tuesday, May 21 at noon by emailing membership@wdfmuseum.org.
- Founding, Supporter, and Friend-level members: Purchase tickets beginning Wednesday, May 22 at noon by emailing membership@wdfmuseum.org.
- All member levels: Purchase tickets online beginning Thursday, May 23 at noon via the Member Portal.
- Public (non-members): Remaining tickets available online beginning Friday, May 24 at noon
