Since its founding on St. Cecilia’s Day 2004, Artists’ Vocal Ensemble (AVE) has been engaging audiences with thoughtful programming and consistently exceptional choral singing that has set it apart from other ensembles in the Bay Area. Composed of mixed voices (male and female) that are especially suited to Renaissance and contemporary repertoire, their reputation has spread rapidly as a leader in sacred choral music.
Join us in our Diane Disney Miller Exhibition Hall to hear Volti's professional vocalists, under the direction of founder and Artistic Director Robert Geary. The ensemble encourages, fosters, and showcases contemporary American music and composers, to introduce contemporary vocal music from around the world to local audiences.
Artist's Vocal Ensemble: A Candlelight Christmas will take place on Saturday, December 18, at 4:15pm and again at 6:15pm. The Diane Disney Miller Exhibition Hall is located right behind our museum, at 122 Riley Avenue, in the Presidio.
