It's Thanksgiving, so we've asked Museum staffers what they're all thankful for... here's what they said!

“I've lived in San Francisco for just over two years now, and I'm grateful that we don't have ice and snow here. I'm thankful for what I call ‘eternal sweater weather.’"

- Richard Benefield, Executive Director

“I am thankful for good health, great friends, and family especially the extended one at the museum! (Even though I always wanted to be an only child instead of 7 out of 8.) Just kidding Mom! “

- Michael Labrie, Director of Collections

“I am thankful for my husband, my family, my friends, and the days I can get 7 hours of sleep :)”

- Rosalind Cohen-Baruch, Director of Human Resources

“I am thankful for family and friends.”

- Donna Tuggle, Director of Visitor Experience and Interpretation

“I am thankful for the people I work with.”

- Nancy Wolf, Director of Facilities

“I’m grateful that our Museum features a panoramic view of the Golden Gate Bridge – one of the most spectacular sites in the world.”

- Marsha Robertson, Director of Communications and Marketing

“I'm thankful I have a three year old with a sense of humor.”

- Anel Muller, Registrar

“The free parking at the Museum!”

- Alyson Fried, Facilities Coordinator

“As Walt said, ‘The important thing is family.’  I think of my co-workers as my daytime family.  I am thankful for my fabulous boss and my great teammates; together we help make the Museum a wonderful place for our guests. “

- Pam Spedus, Membership Coordinator

“I'm thankful, as a big Disney fan, to have the privilege of working at The Walt Disney Family Museum!”

- Mel Asher, Visitor Experience Associate

"I'm thankful for the free tickets for the Tangled sneak preview that made me Greatest Dad Ever for my Disney Princess-obsessed daughter!"

- Mark Gibson, Digital Assets Coordinator

"I am thankful for everyone who shares their time and energy with us here at the museum."

- Reed Milnes, Volunteer Coordinator

“I’m thankful for the vastness and tranquility I experience when cycling  through the Presidio every morning. “

- Daniel Calabrese, Visitor Experience Associated

“I am thankful that after a slow beginning, in the last two weeks, ‘Dexter’ has gotten really, really good.”

- Lynn Zook, Digital Archivist

“I'm grateful to all the supporters of our Public Programs and all of our speakers who are willing to share their stories and memories with us.  I am grateful to have the opportunity to work in such a beautiful museum in the middle of an amazingly gorgeous landscape. I'm thankful that my commute to work includes a view of the golden gate bridge and a walk through a forest of giant Eucalyptus trees.”

- Vanessa Humes, Public Programs Coordinator

“I am thankful for chocolate, and the ways my coworkers come together in helping fill the candy bucket in my office. What’s the best kind of work? TEAMWORK!”

- Andi Wang, Communications Specialist

... What are YOU thankful for? Happy Thanksgiving!
