This is the second in a series titled "What Do YOU Do?" where we'll be asking a museum staff member to answer five questions about their position at The Walt Disney Family Museum, their fondest Disney memories, and other personal tidbits. This month, we highlight Pam Spedus!

What is your title and what do YOU do here at The Walt Disney Family Museum?

PS:  I am the Executive Assistant to the Director of Visitor Experience & Interpretation and Membership Coordinator.  I am also responsible for booking School Experiences and School Tours.  You may have also talked to me on the phone because I answer the phone on weekdays.

What is your fondest Disney memory OR what is your favorite gallery at The Walt Disney Family Museum and why?

I love the display from the apartment in Disneyland.  It literally chokes me up every time I see it.  My happy place is of course Disneyland and it just takes me a little closer.

How does your job communicate and interpret the legacy of Walt Disney?

Walt just inspires me! I hope I am respectful to all and get a little better every day.

“Whenever I go on a ride, I am always thinking of what’s wrong with the thing and how it can be improved.” – Walt Disney

Describe your workspace OR your favorite item on your desk:

On my desk is a little Mickey Mouse card holder – there he sits waiting to help someone.  My desk is the 6th workspace I have been in since I have been here; my two year anniversary was on January 26th.

Tell us a little known fact about you!

Bob Bell was my landlord – who was Bob Bell?  Bozo the Clown.
