Have you ever wanted to learn about hand-drawn animation while simultaneously exploring how computer-based tools can help your character move like a living being? Join us for this two-week intensive class that focuses on digital 2D animation using classical, hand-drawn skills. Combined with rigging and creating assets, learn how to make a character using multiple pieces then put them together and see them come to life.

Tickets for Summer Class | Digital Puppet Animation will be available as follows:
- Walt’s Circle Donors: Purchase tickets beginning Tuesday, March 26 at noon PST by emailing membership@wdfmuseum.org.
- Supporter, Founding, and Friend-level members: Purchase tickets beginning Wednesday, March 27 at noon PST by emailing membership@wdfmuseum.org.
- All member levels: Purchase tickets beginning Thursday, March 28 at noon PST via the Member Portal.
- Public (non-members): Purchase tickets beginning Friday, March 29 at noon PST via the Studio ticketing page.
Scholarship Information
To ensure that all students have the opportunity to take classes at The Walt Disney Family Museum, we are pleased to offer scholarships to qualifying families and students of all ages. How to apply:
- Send an email to studio@wdfmuseum.org with the subject line “Summer Scholarship Information 2024”.
- Include the student’s name and age, a parent/guardian’s name (if applicable), and the class name and dates.
