When Disneyland first opened its gates 65 years ago, one of the attractions that opened with the Park was Mad Tea Party. On this dizzying ride, guests sit in oversized teacups which spin wildly to the accompaniment of jaunty music. Each teacup features a unique painted design that is simple, yet iconic. Join us for this workshop as you learn how to use color palettes, shapes, and patterns to create a memorable design for your own teacup.
This workshop will be held entirely online using a video conference interface. Students will be expected to have an internet connection, camera, and microphone to communicate with the teacher and other students. Basic materials such as pencils, pens, and paper will be used during the workshop. Any additional materials needed will be communicated by the teacher.
