Created by Keane for Riot Games’ League of Legends video game and set to electronic artist Bassnectar’s track “Butterfly,” this animation takes viewers on a whimsical journey alongside Lux the Lady of Luminosity as she prepares for battle.

Toward the end of their animation careers, these artists became vital mentors to the up-and-coming animators recently hired at the Studios.

Basil’s powers of deduction will be pitted against his nemesis Professor Rattigan, animated by Glen Keane. This film is being shown in conjunction with our special exhibition Make Believe: The World of Glen Keane.

In this program, Dale Baer shares his memories of the five years during which he worked with six of the Nine Old Men. Having learned some significant lessons from these masters, Baer went on to have a career in animation that included work as a lead animator.

In this workshop, students will learn the history of Audio-Animatronics® technology during the early 1960s. This hands-on activity will challenge students to collaboratively work in teams to navigate a Sphero SPRK robot through trial and error, using math-based calculations and computer block programming.
