This year, in honor of Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary, we will be making multiple stops around the Resort and delving into its history. Our next stop is Disney’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park.
As guests enter onto the main street of Hollywood Boulevard, posters of all kinds run along the walls of the Park, representing a wide range of classic films, current attractions, and “the Hollywood that never was and always will be.” Join us in this workshop as we delve into the history of poster design and showcase how a single image can describe an entire film. Using shapes, tones, and unique aesthetics, you will then illustrate a dynamic movie poster of your own.
