This year, in honor of Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary, we will be making multiple stops around the Resort and delving into its history. Our final stop is at Magic Kingdom Park.
At the heart of the Theme Park stands an ethereal castle featuring iridescent hues fit for a princess. This iconic 189-foot landmark welcomes its guests to a magical world where dreams come true. Join us as we look at the history of Cinderella Castle along with the fairytale itself, and explore medieval castle designs, interior and exterior architecture, and drawing fundamentals. Then, using color and graphic cardstock, create your own whimsical 2D paper art castle.

Tickets for Virtual Pop-Up | Designing a Castle are available as follows:
- Walt's Circle, Supporter, Founding, and Friend-level members: Purchase tickets beginning Thursday, October 7 at noon by emailing membership@wdfmuseum.org
- All member levels: Purchase tickets online beginning Friday, October 8 at noon
- Public (non-members): Remaining tickets available online beginning Tuesday, October 12 at noon
