This year, in honor of Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary, we will be making multiple stops around the Resort and delving into its history. Our final stop is at Magic Kingdom Park.
Famously used by the Fairy Godmother and Tinker Bell, magical wands are a staple of Disney’s fantasy storytelling. Join us as we explore how wands have been used throughout Disney Parks, Resorts, and animated films, then—using 2D hand-drawn animation principles—create your own character summoning their powers with the help of their spellcasting wand.

Tickets for Virtual Studio Series | Animating a Magic Wand are available as follows:
- Walt's Circle, Supporter, Founding, and Friend-level members: Purchase tickets beginning Thursday, October 7 at noon by emailing membership@wdfmuseum.org
- All member levels: Purchase tickets online beginning Friday, October 8 at noon
- Public (non-members): Remaining tickets available online beginning Tuesday, October 12 at noon
