As Halloween is right around the corner, Storyboard will be sharing stories about Disneyland's The Haunted Mansion. Today, we are so honored and pleased to have Disney Legend Harriet Burns's grandaughter, Chelsea Clair share with us this little known story about her grandmother and The Haunted Mansion's Madame Leota!

This Friday, we're getting an early start on Halloween festivities here at The Walt Disney Family Museum, with special screenings of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, as well as a spooky-themed Animate Your Night: Halloweentown.

“Life finds a way.” This movie quote is a favorite of mine, and it comes from the 1993 Steven Spielberg blockbuster Jurassic Park. I recently learned about the connection between stop motion animation and the frighteningly real dinosaurs in the film. Stop motion has “found a way” so to speak of remaining relevant and interesting in an age of enormous digital capacity...

Next month, our first major exhibition Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: The Creation of a Classic will open to the public! Weldon Owen will be publishing our exhibition catalogue, as well Disney historian and author J.B. Kaufman's new book The Fairest One of All. Weldon Owen recently had a chance to sit down with Diane Disney Miller to ask her a few personal questions.
