Fall in with WD-FM as we explore the history behind our newest special exhibition, The Walt Disney Studios and World War II. Hear excerpts of interviews with Exhibition Curator Kent Ramsey, Director of Exhibitions Marina Villar Delgado, and Exhibitions Assistant Kaitlin Buickel to hear how they helped to bring this unique exhibition to the public.

Join us on International Podcast Day as we feature some of The Walt Disney Family Museum’s favorite Disney podcasters to discuss fascinating stories and facts centered on Walt Disney and the people who knew him best. Hear from familiar Disney voices—The Bancroft Brothers and Leonard Maltin—and also hear some of your favorite Disney fandom podcasts including Mousetalgia and our very own WD-FM.

Join us as we celebrate Disneyland’s 65th trip around the sun with a day filled with special Disneyland-centric virtual programming, Disneyland trivia, and a few surprises along the way. We want to bring some of your favorite Disneyland memories to life—virtually! Start the day with well-known voiceover artists and producing partners, Bill Rogers and Camille Dixon, as they share their own favorite memories of Disneyland, along with some of yours, as you are invited to submit your favorite Disneyland memory for Bill and Camille to read aloud. Next up, join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Randy Haberkamp for rare home videos from Disneyland’s opening day in 1955. Then join former Imagineer Chris Crump as he discusses his illustrious career at Disneyland; his work over the years with his father, Disney Legend Rolly Crump; and what Disneyland means to him—followed by a Q&A. Enjoy a special Spotlight Talk featuring the unique Disneyland model in the museum. Finish the day with special guests and a surprise announcement about our next exciting virtual community exhibition. All aboard for a fun-filled day of magical memories of THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!

Join us for a free performance of Alan’s legendary Disney works, including “Under the Sea,” “A Whole New World,” and “Be Our Guest,” as well as classics from other films and Broadway plays. During the performance, Alan will be joined by special guest and friend Lin-Manuel Miranda. This virtual event benefits The Walt Disney Family Museum’s At-Promise Youth Animation Academy initiative—an educational program providing state-of-the-art animation training for young people experiencing economic and social displacement.

This year we introduced a new virtual series—Happily Ever After Hours—which featured directors, animators, screenwriters, voice actors, and many other creatives from the world of animation. We've had so much fun sharing these interactive interviews with you during our closure and are looking back on some of our favorite moments from 2020.
