After two and a half years of planning, preparing and packing, the 16,367-artifact collection of the Walt Disney Family Foundation, made its move into its permanent home on December 10, 2008. One of our most valuable artifacts is Walt’s voice. The museum is designed so that Walt himself is the narrator, taking you through his life. In this spirit, Storyboard aims to present Walt’s own words, on a variety of topics, regularly. As we celebrate our fifth anniversary this month, we'd like to share the insights Walt had on his knowledge of art and feelings about art galleries, as relayed to journalist Pete Martin in an interview, ca. 1956.
