(no class Jun 19, half-day Jun 27)
Light is an important yet often overlooked aspect within art and animation. While we illuminate you about the technical aspects of adding lighting to your own scenes, we will also discuss the importance of light to express mood and how it tells a story.
Additional Class Details
Students will learn both digital software and traditional hand-drawn tools to create different environments and lighting effects. This class will have an emphasis on drawing and students will not be animating in this course.
Please note: The last day of class will be a half day (9am–noon). Parents and family are invited to join us at noon to visit the classroom and view student work from the two-week session.
